I know I'm a little late in posting my Friday Night Sew-In results, but I decided to make a weekend of sewing, since I haven't done it in awhile. It felt good to get back into it.

Considering I hadn't thought of fabrics or anything when I started sewing Friday night, I'm happy to have the top done. It's a mini quilt which is a free pattern, so kindly provided by Kathleen Tracy. It is part of a year long challenge to make mini quilts; find it HERE.

I might just make this one into a pillow instead. Now off to catch up on all the things I should have been doing this weekend!

You're not late - we now have the whole weekend to post. They changed the rule in August (thank goodness, because I just posted mine too!). Love your mini quilt! Isn't it satisfying to do small projects once in awhile? I'll have to check out the mini quilt challenge!

Just lovely! These colors are so soothing. It will make a gorgeous cushion if you decide to turn it into one. Great FNSI!
